Hi,
habe PC saboteur UK version.
Wenn ich auf .exe gehe kommt ne schwarze bildschirm und diese Fehlermeldung:
"The saboteur is unable to continue due to on error initializing your graphics hardware"
und dann muss man auf ok klicken und man kommt wieder in Desktop.
system:
Palit GTX 285 2 GB
Q6600
5 GB Ram
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
was soll ich tun. Alle treiber sind neu.
unter verschiedene Kompatitäten wurde ausgeführt aber bringt nix. -
das spiel ist bei momentanen patchstand sowieso unspielbar
auf ati systemen läufts garnicht / extremst eingeschränkt
startet auf einem großteil aller 64bit systeme nicht
einzig bekannter fix um abstürze zu reduzieren scheint bis jetz sein alle kerne bis auf 1 zu deaktivieren ,
das kann aber auch nicht das wahre sein
(geh ja mal davon aus , dass du das spiel im original besitzt , so probleme treten normalerweisen ur bei schlechten keksen auf ;))

3- find vysinc and change it to 0

Update: We are currently digging into the issue at hand & are working as fast as possible to find a solution.
In some of our tests we have found one workaround that seems to allow users to run the game. Some have posted adjusting the affinity process via “Task Manager” but our fix truly puts the system in a 1 core mode and will allow you to run the game. Overall this is not a final fix, nor a perfectly stable fix, but it will allow you to run the game.
This work around is entirely base upon CPU processing power & will possibly only work for certain systems.
Steps to turn off cores: (For Windows 7)
1.) Open MSCONFIG (You can open it by entering MSCONFIG in the search bar)
2.) Select the “Boot” tab
3.) Click on “Advanced Options”
4.) Check “Number of Processors”
5.) Select “1” from dropdown menu
6.) Click “Apply”
7.) Restart machine
Steps to turn off cores: (For Windows Vista)
1.) Open MSCONFIG – Start> Run > Type MSCONFIG
2.) Select the “BOOT.INI” tab
3.) Click on “Advanced Options…”
4.) Select the check box for /NUMPROC= set it to 1 & click “OK”
5.) Click “Apply”
6.) Restart machine
ich finde ein spiel auf den markt zu bringen dass nich startet ist schon betrug ,
wenn man NACHTRÄGLICH merkt , dass das spiel eventuell startet indem man seine cpu beschneidet....
naja ea , umsatz ist wichtiger als zufriedenheit/gute spiele... -

Also ich habe alles versucht was du geschrieben hast. Ohne erfolg, es hat sich nichts verändert^^. Allerdings habe ich Windows 7 64 bit. Ich glaube, das liegt daran, dass das Spiel probleme mit 64 bit macht wie du schon sagtest. Außerdem bestitze ich ja auch die Original DVD version.
Danke nochmal, also außer abwarten auf dem Patch kann man wohl nix machen.
Ich würde mich weiter freuen, wenn noch jemand eine Lösung findet, damit man das Problem umgeht^^ -

habe den Patch installiert. Aber ohne erfolgt. Ich glaube nicht, dass man das Problem mit patch lösen kann.
Es muss an Hardware legen, hat jemand ne Ideee??

habe ich gemacht bringt auch wieder nicht. Habe jetzt ein Theard bei Saboteur forum aufgemacht, es gibt anscheind noch mehr leute, die das Selbe problem haben
