Hallo Leute,

ich weiß nicht wo ich das Thema hinpacken soll, also mach ichs mal hierher.

Unter XP konnte man im Explorer oder auch sonst überall ein Thumbnail anstatt des Word- oder PDF-Symbols sehen, unter Vista nicht. In den Ordneroptionen hab ich das schon entsprechend konfiguriert, aber trotzdem seh ich nix. Nur bei den üblichen Bilddateien (*.jpg,...) funktionierts.

Weiß jemand Rat?

Das ist mir zu fummelig und auch zu riskant. Da wart ich lieber auf IFilter von den offiziellen Stellen.

Aus dem Adobe-Forum:

Acrobat and Reader 9 are similar to Acrobat/Reader 8 - they contain a 32-bit iFilter bundled with them that supports 32-bit operating systems. We're working on a stand-alone PDF iFilter 9 64-bit right now, and our goal is that it will support XP 64-bit, Vista 64-bit and a number of the other platforms mentioned on this forum. However, I don't have a confirmed time frame to share with you regarding when this will be released. It definitely won't be available in the next month or two.
Please continue to post feedback here, and we'll release PDF iFilter 9 64-bit as soon as it's ready.
