Die Catalyst-Version 8.5 ist wie immer komplett WHQL-zertifiziert und steht für Windows XP und Vista jeweils in der 32- und 64-Bit-Version gleichermaßen zum Download bereit. Außerdem gibt es Catalyst-Versionen für die Media Center Edition und für XP.

- Call of Juarez DX10 - Bis zu 12% mehr Leistung auf HD-3000-Karten.
- Lost Planet DX10 - 5% to 35% mehr Leistung auf HD-3000-Karten.
- World in Conflict DX10 - Bis zu 25% mehr Leistung bei Radeon HD 3600 and Radeon HD 3800. Mehr Zuwächse bei Radeon HD 3870X2.
- Stalker DX9 - 20-50% mehr Leistung bei aktivem HDR mit Radeon 3800
- Halo - 10-30% mehr Leistung
- Adaptive AA bei Open-GL-Spielen (HD 3000, HD 2000, X1000)
- Diverse Bugfixes bei Crysis, Hellgate: London, Stranglehold, Team Fortess 2
