Die neue Version von Pidgin (ehemals Gaim) ist nun erschienen und bringt viele neue Features mit.
Pidgin ist ein Multi-Messenger mit dem du dich in vielen verschiedenen Messengers wie: "Windows Live, ICQ, AIM, Jabba ..." einloggen oder direkt registrieren kannst. Zudem kannst du dich nun auch auswählen in welchen Messenger du direkt eingeloggt werden möchtest sobald du Pidgin 2.7.0 startest. Auch für Bastler und Entwickler gibt es viele neue Plug-Ins und Erweiterungen jeglicher Art.
