Ahhh yeah—that’s a classic Windows touch/gesture thing, and it’s incredibly annoying on touch-screen laptops .

What’s happening is almost certainly touch gestures or “edge swipes” triggering task switching when your palm or finger barely grazes the screen.

Thanks for the tips on disabling auto-rotate! I was having the same issue while trying to play Suika Game on my tablet – kept flipping the screen mid-merge! It completely ruins the flow.
