Das Problem kenne ich aus Windows-7-Zeiten gut. Oft liegt es daran, dass das Desktop-Symbol Sonderzeichen oder ungewöhnliche Unicode-Zeichen im Namen hat, die der Explorer nicht sauber verarbeitet. Ein Neustart des Explorers oder das Umbenennen im abgesicherten Modus hilft manchmal. Interessant ist, wie sensibel Windows auf spezielle Zeichen reagiert ich teste sowas gelegentlich mit Unicode Texten von https://thestylishname.com/.
