Google Calendar Sync mit Outlook 2010 nutzen?

Habe mir mal Office 2010 - 30-Tage-Trial installiert.
Da ich ein Android-Handy habe und dort den Kalender recht intensiv nutze wollte ich Google Calendar Sync installieren;

Synchronisiert normalerweise Outlook 2003 und 2007 mit dem Google-Kalender (und somit auch mit dem Android-Kalender);

Leider kommt nach der Installation von Google Calender Sync die Fehlermeldung, dass es nur mit Outloook 2003 und 2007 kompatibel ist, ich aber Version 14.00 installiert habe.

Hab schon gegoogelt, einzige bisher brauchbare Lösung ist mit nem Hex-Editor die Outlook.exe zu bearbeiten, und Outlook Sync vorzugaukeln, dass es Office 2007 ist; finde ich aber alles andere als schön.

Hat jemand ne andere Lösung dafür gefunden?
