Avira AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic ist nun auch mit der 64-Bit-Version von Windows Vista kompatibel.

Support für Vista 64 Bit Edition

Nur die nachfolgend aufgelisteten Module sind native 64 Bit Module:

- 64 Bit LSP
- ShellExtension
- LSP Installer
- ShellExtension Installer
- Minifilter Treiber
- Beide Firewall Treiber

Alle anderen Komponenten sind nach wie vor 32 Bit Applikationen.
Folgende Funktion sind unter 64 Bit Vista nicht verfügbar:

- Antirootkit
- Prozess Schutz
