Die in Win7 eingebaute, aber von Microsoft recht stiefmütterlich behandelte, Funktion "Virtual Wi-Fi" hat jetzt ein findiger Entwickler für ein Tool "Connectify" genutzt, das aus jedem Win7-PC mit WLAN einen WLAN-Router machen kann.

Wenn Euer PC also z. B. per LAN mit dem Internet verbunden ist, können andere WLAN-Geräte diesen PC als Hotspot nutzen. Man braucht dann keinen Router mehr. Der Router ist dann der PC. Voraussetzung wird natürlich sein, daß Euer PC WLAN-fähig ist. Ein interessantes Projekt. Bisher gibt es das Tool nur als Beta-Version.
