Foxit Phantom PDF Suite, die ernsthafteste vollständige Alternative zu Adobe Acrobat, ist in neuer Version 2.0 erschienen:

Wozu Adobe Acrobat Hunderte von MB braucht, hat Foxit mit "[b]Phantom[/b]" in sage und schreibe 10 MB geschafft: Eine vollständige PDF-Suite und das mit allen wesentlichen Features, die auch in Acrobat enthalten sind. Man vermißt eigentlich nichts. Auch der Preis beträgt mit 129 USD nur einen Bruchteil dessen, was Adobe für sein Produkt haben will.

Eine deutsche Sprachdatei scheint allerdings bisher zu fehlen, ist aber offenbar vorgesehen.

her gesehen, scheint es sich um ein recht umfängliches Brennprogramm zu handeln, das sogar kommerzielle Brennprogramme wie Nero etc. ersetzen könnte. Vgl. a.:
