Das französische Unternehmen Thomson hat in Zusammenarbeit mit Fraunhofer einen neuen verlustfreien mp3-Codec "MP3HD" entwickelt, der auch mit bisherigem mp3 abwärtskompatibel ist, da das alte mp3-Format in die Dateien eingebettet wird. Für WinAmp ist auch bereits ein Abspielplugin erhältlich. Für den WMP scheint noch nichts da zu sein.

Das klingt interessant. Äußert Euch doch bitte zur Klangqualität unter WinAmp (ich hab das nicht) und mit den normalen mp3-Abspielgeräten.

her gesehen, scheint es sich um ein recht umfängliches Brennprogramm zu handeln, das sogar kommerzielle Brennprogramme wie Nero etc. ersetzen könnte. Vgl. a.:
