Anforderungen an USB-Stick für Ready-Boost Begonnen von lorhinger
15. März 2007, 13:24:47 Hallo zusammen. Um den Spekulationen, wann Ready-Boost-Fähig und wann nicht, hier die Mindestanforderungen von Microsoft für die Nutzung als Ready-Boost-Stick. Mindestens 500 MByte Kapazität. Datentransferraten von mindestens 5 MByte/s (lesend) und 3 MByte/s (schreibend). taskeng.exe - Aufgabenplanungsmodul? Wie abschalten? Begonnen von nueffl
19. Februar 2007, 00:47:04 Ich habe mittlerweile dank dieses tollen :-) Forums herausgefunden, dass mein Aero und die Maus aufgrund des Prozesses taskeng.exe (Aufgabenplanungsmodul) ruckeln. Kille ich den Prozess manuell über den Task-Manager, so ist das Ruckeln komplett weg und alles läuft flüssig. Das Problem ist natürlich, dass ich jetzt nicht nach jedem Systemstart diesen Dienst manuell beenden will. Also bin ich über Ausführen -> services.msc zu den Diensten gegangen. Dort finde ich aber ein "Aufgabenplanungsmodul" leider nicht. Nur die "Aufgabenplanung" (dabei handelt es sich um die svchost.exe). Wie / Wo kann ich den Prozess taskeng.exe dauerhaft deaktivieren? Oder geht das gar nicht? Vielen Dank für eure kompetente Hilfe! |

Somit kann beispielsweise durch die Verwendung eines USB-Sticks die Systemleistung deutlich verbessert werden. Sollte Ihr Gerät nicht kompatibel sein, gibt es einen kleinen Trick, mit dem sich ReadyBoost trotzdem aktivieren lässt.
Schließen Sie als erstes das gewünschte Gerät an und öffnen Sie anschließend den Explorer.
Dort klicken Sie dann mit der rechten Maustaste auf das angeschlossene Gerät und wählen "Eigenschaften" aus. Im darauf geöffneten Dialog welchseln Sie zur Registerkarte "ReadyBoost" und wählen die Option "Dieses Gerät beim Anschließen nicht noch einmal testen" aus.
Jetzt müssen Sie das Gerät entfernen und in der Registry zum Schlüssel HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\EMDMgmt wechseln. Dort öffnen Sie anschließend den Unterschlüssel, in dem der Namen oder in diesem Fall ein Hinweis auf den USB-Stick des gewünschten Geräts vorkommt. Nun müssen Sie die folgenden Einträge bearbeiten.

Schließen Sie nun das Gerät das nächste Mal an, sollte sich ReadyBoost aktivieren lassen.
